Founders × Angel Investors 1-on-1 Event — Angel Scramble

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, we hosted "Angel Scramble," a matchmaking event connecting startup founders with angel investors, held in Shibuya, Tokyo.
(Co-hosted by Z Venture Capital, East Ventures, Skyland Ventures, and AWS)

The event featured 1-on-1 sessions of 15 minutes each, running for a total of 90 minutes, giving founders the opportunity to seek fundraising advice and mentorship directly from angel investors. A total of 25 startup founders joined alongside numerous angel investors, filling the venue with an energy and excitement that was palpable throughout.

1-on-1 Matching Sessions




Following the 90-minute 1-on-1 sessions, we hosted a networking reception bringing together angel investors, founders, and the co-hosting VCs. With drinks and light bites in hand, conversations flourished across the room — including with those there hadn't been time to meet during the sessions — and the atmosphere grew warmer and more connected as the evening went on. More than just a networking event, the reception felt like a moment where new energy was being breathed into the startup ecosystem.
