Sungjoon joined Z Venture Capital (""ZVC"") in 2022, and he focuses on US investment opportunities. Before joining ZVC, Sungjoon was an executive director at Nomura, focusing on M&A and financing advisory for major conglomerates and late staged startups in Korea. Prior to that, he was a research associate covering telecom, media and technology sector at Bear Stearns HK. Sungjoon started his career as an analyst at Merrill Lynch investment banking division in NY. Sungjoon received a BA from Northwestern University.
