Z Venture Capital Corporation (Z Venture Capital) announces that In Joon Hwang has been appointed as CEO and Koichi Matsudaira as Operating Partner, according to the shareholder general meeting resolution dated December 25, 2023, and the board of directors resolution dated January 1, 2024.

Accordingly, as of January 1, 2024, the management structure has become In Joon Hwang, CEO representative director, Kay (Eunkyu) Lim, director partner, and Koichi Matsudaira, operating partner director.

I am Hwang In Joon, the newly appointed CEO of Z Venture Capital. ZVC is the CVC of LY Corporation, which encompasses LINE's messenger platform, Yahoo! JAPAN's search platform, and PayPay, the largest payment service in the country. Based on these, we are actively investing in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and the United States. In-Joon Hwang holds the position of Senior Executive Officer & CGIO (Chief Global Investment Officer) of LY Corporation. He is also on the board of 16 other companies. In the past he was Director at NAVER Corp. and Chief Executive Officer & Director at Line C&I Corp. (a subsidiary of NAVER Corp.), Chief Executive Officer & Director of Investments at NHN Investment Co., Ltd. and Managing Director at Woori Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. and Chief Financial Officer at NAVER Corp/LINE Corp. He received an undergraduate degree from Seoul National University and an MBA from New York University Graduate School.
